How to use our Devilbiss Gti Pro Lite Gravity Spray Gun GOLD with both 1.3mm and 1.4mm Caps.

We all know how important it is for your precious car to have a smooth, spotless paint job which will only sparkle and shine in the sun. But we also know what it’s like when you want to give your car a fresh, new look or you need to replace a panel. The thought of the cost is off putting.

With our Devilbiss Gti Pro Lite Gravity Spray Gun GOLD with both 1.3mm and 1.4mm Caps you won’t have that problem.

What you will need:

 Before you begin:

Ensure you read the instructions that come with the paint.

Make yourself aware of all the parts of the gun and how it functions.

Step 1: Prepare your paint.

Paint for your spray gun cannot be too thick or too thin. You need to ensure you have the correct consistency which will help give you the effect you are after. With our Devilbiss Gti Pro Lite Gravity Spray Gun GOLD with both 1.3mm and 1.4mm Caps you will not require as much paint thinner as it is a pressure fed gun. Please ensure you add the correct amount of thinner and follow all instructions and measurements.

Step 2: Begin your painting.

Ensure you have your safety glasses, gloves and gas mask.

Cover any surrounding areas with tape to ensure no over spray lands on areas you don’t want painted. Lay some newspaper down to test your spray first so you know how close to be to the area as well as ensuring your happy with the result and consistency of the spray.

We recommend standing 8 – 10 inches away from the area. When you are happy with your test result proceed to the area you are painting. Ensure you press the button and move the gun in a left to right motion. Keep the same consistency whilst moving the gun around so you will have an even result.

It is important that you don’t move too close to the area as the paint will run.

Step 3: Final Touch

Continue to spray the area until the area is completely covered with the same consistency. It is important to ensure that you don’t have areas that are darker or lighter as they will dry patchy. Check that there are no missed areas. Once the area is completely dry ensure you remove all the taped areas. Clean your area and especially your spray gun so it is ready to use for next time.
